The unit has been Promoted & Established in the year 1974 by Mr.S. K. Chakravarty, Managing Director, highly qualified Metallurgical Engineer with Post Graduate Degree from U.S.A., with excellent track record for the last more than 45 years.

The unit is a Registered S.S.I. Unit approved by Government of West Bengal, NSIC (Government of India), DGS&D, Defense, Indian Railways, Atomic Energy, IOCL (Holdia Refinery) and Lloyds & Bureau Veritas and Engaged in Manufacture of Import Substituted items based on Client’s Drawings for the following types of Industries mainly in Stainless Steel, Carbon Steels, Cupper, Aluminum & Brass.
